Note 1: i have made a very slight revision to this design which involves adding one more capacitor. Both schematics are available at the above link.
Note 2: leds could be used instead of 1n914's to increase the maximum output level or replace 1 1n914 with 2 in series etc...
There are now more sound samples available here and i also have a few available for sale for $35.
